Implementing ISRC codes in all RadioPro represented music works

Dear Friends and Members,

RadioPro has been working with its Members, Partners and associated Publishers to implement ISRC codes across every music work the organisation represents.

The International Standard Recording Code (ISRC) is the international system for identifying sound recordings and music videos. Each ISRC is a unique identifier that can be permanently encoded into a recording, so that it can be identified properly and automatically wherever it is used. Together with complete and accurate metadata and with audio fingerprinting technology, ISRCs give our organisation and our members the tools needed to monitor how our repertoire is used.

Making ISRC codes compulsory, and building them into our Automated Royalty Distribution Platform (RadioPro ARDP), will allow RadioPro Ltd to collect royalties and pay its members more efficiently.

We expect to finish encoding ISRC codes across the whole RadioPro repertoire by the end of March 2021.
