RadioPRO: Ensuring Proper Royalty Management and Protection of Rights Holders

RadioPRO, a collective management organisation working in music copyright protection, has put firm measures in place to protect the interests of its rights holders.

Any organisation outside the United Kingdom that collects money on behalf of RadioPRO without our consent will be required to pay a minimum royalty of £5,000 for each attempt to collect on behalf of our artists, and to return 120% of any funds collected without authorisation. The purpose is straightforward: royalties should be managed properly, and rights holders should be protected.

Our work rests on transparency, automation and fair royalty management. Penalising unauthorised collection deters it, and it gives rights holders a clear assurance that their interests are defended.

Measures of this kind are what keep trust intact and make sure rights holders receive what they are owed, in full.
